Editor on The Apprentice says Trump made 'lewd' comments between takes

More allegations of sexual misconduct were leveled at Donald Trump last night, this time from an editor on “The Apprentice” who said that the then reality TV star would make lewd comments to the crew between takes:

The comments were first reported by CineMontage, the journal of the Motion Picture Editors Guild. Form Variety:

The supervising editor on the first six seasons of “The Apprentice” says that Donald Trump would make comments about women between takes on the set like “I’d like to drill her,” and also made comments about women “he found less attractive,” according to a story posted on Wednesday in CineMontage, the journal of the Motion Picture Editors Guild.

The editor, Jonathan Braun, who was also co-producer for one season, recalled that Trump’s “favorite word was ‘drill.’ He was always saying between takes, ‘I’d like to drill her,’ lewdly referring to female crew members working on set. He couldn’t help himself making comments about women and the way they looked. He also had comments about women he found less attractive. There was no question he took the men a lot more seriously than the women.”

Braun, however, said that he was unsure if Trump’s comments were captured on camera and then left on the cutting room floor.

The Trump campaign denied the allegations:

A spokeswoman for the Trump campaign, Hope Hicks, said, “More fiction from Hollywood’s finest.”

In other Apprentice-related news, Trump’s partner on his hit show — Mark Burnett — denied a report in BuzzFeed that accused him of being a Trump supporter and said that Burnett threatened to sue anyone who released tape from “The Apprentice”:

Burnett went on to say that he can’t legally release the tapes anyway. From CNN:

“Despite reports to the contrary, Mark Burnett does not have the ability nor the right to release footage or other material from The Apprentice,” that statement read. “Various contractual and legal requirements also restrict MGM’s ability to release such material. The recent claims that Mark Burnett has threatened anyone with litigation if they were to leak such material are completely and unequivocally false.”
