it's not an "alliance," it's just a "limited strategic partnership in pursuit of a shared goal"

Apparently Ted Cruz doesn’t consider his campaign’s coordinated effort to cede Oregon and New Mexico to John Kasich while the Kasich campaign left Indiana for Cruz as an “alliance.”
Cruz on Kasich:
"I recognize the media is all eager to talk about an alliance. There is no alliance."

Both campaigns literally issued press releases about the alliance, but blame the media for saying their’s an “alliance”? Sorry, but that’s not how it works:
So those mirror-image press releases a few nights ago weren't an invitation for media to talk about an alliance? https://t.co/rA3HX1gz4n

The non alliance Cruz says the media loves to talk about was announced simultaneously by the campaigns. Via press release.

Here’s John Kasich’s cheif strategist John Weaver with what we assume is a reaction to Cruz:
I can't stand liars.

LOL. Kasich will call Cruz “Lyin’ Ted” by the time this is all over.
And we’ll end it with this warning to Carly Fiorina:
Next up: Cruz on Carly: "I recognize the media is all eager to talk about my runningmate. There is no runningmate." https://t.co/SeULbt8VT7
