There were rumors that Jenner would be named a few weeks ago, but now it’s official. Baby-parts merchant Richard, however, is a surprise:

.@CecileRichards lied to the American public and to Congress, yet @GlamourMag honors her among its 2015 Women of the Year? Unbelievable.

Unbelievably SHALLOW @Glamour Women are FAR MORE than identifying, dressing up, or even transitioning #Insulting https://t.co/l60210yIT6

Kudos, @glamourmag. You have man & the CEO of a government funded serial killing enterprise as honorees. Well done. https://t.co/dMPpqjm5z4

Others on the list are Reese Witherspoon, Victoria Beckham, Misty Copeland, Elizabeth Holmes, the U.S. women’s national soccer and the women of Charleston, S.C.:

And as crazy as this sounds, Richards and Jenner might not be the two most controversial names on the list. Elizabeth Holmes, CEO of the privately held billion-dollar biotech company Theranos, is under fire of late after the WSJ reported that the company’s blood-testing technology might not meet expectations:

From “Woman of the Year” to “Worst CEO of the Year”?
Glamour magazine will honor the women at an awards gala hosted by Amy Schumer on November 9 in New York City.
