As we reported yesterday, President Obama is headed to Miami today on “fossil-fuel guzzling Air Force One” for an Everglades-global warming photo-op, and he’s bringing television host Bill Nye with him.
Here’s a picture just posted by White House Chief Digital Officer Jason Goldman of a giddy-looking Nye getting ready to take off:
Headed to the Everglades w @BillNye! Bill was a mechanical engineer at Boeing and worked on the 747 (our ride today.) pic.twitter.com/Q8j5O2IGnF

We knew that Bill Nye the self proclaimed “Science Guy” wasn’t a real scientist, but did others know that?
Bonus: Nye took a gas-guzzling SUV to Air Force One:

Happy Earth Day!
In any event, if they really wanted to make a statement about the environment, they would have done this event via Skype:
Nice plane. Gotta have aGIGANTIC carbon footprint yes? @Goldman44 @BillNye

@Goldman44 @BillNye Oh look, climate hypocrites.
