Earlier tonight we learned some news about what’s next for Hillary’s campaign and … wait for it … hold on to your hats … it’s a road trip from Chappaqua to Iowa:
Road trip! Loaded the van & set off for IA. Met a great family when we stopped this afternoon. Many more to come. -H pic.twitter.com/5Va7zeR8RP
— Hillary Clinton (@HillaryClinton) April 13, 2015
Game changer, because NOBODY would have expected a trip to Iowa.
But this trip is different, you see, because Hillary is in a van, not a giant bus. AND she’s calling her van “Scooby” after the “Mystery Machine” van in the kids’ cartoon:
.@HillaryClinton calls van "Scooby" aide tells @CNN, because it reminds her of Scooby Doo Mystery Machine. Our story: http://t.co/wOUA1hYLXp

Hmmm. Maybe we’ll finally get to the bottom of this real Scooby-Doo mystery?
Maybe Hillary Clinton & the Scooby Gang can solve the mystery of the 30,000 vanished emails… unless you damn meddling kids interfere.

Ha!
All of this is so dumb, but not to NBC’s Chuck Todd who thinks this is just awesome:
So hard in this new media age to do anything that looks spontaneous to political world. This Hillary road trip idea has done just that
— Chuck Todd (@chucktodd) April 13, 2015
Oh, come on! This is as staged as it gets!!!
Key word: *looks* @chucktodd
— Katie Pavlich (@KatiePavlich) April 13, 2015
@chucktodd It looks spontaneous to you?
— Doug Newman (@donewman) April 13, 2015
@chucktodd Sorry you misspelled "phony"
— Fred Wszolek (@FredWszolek) April 13, 2015
@chucktodd Yet it looks so fake…and is easily mockable. SNL will have a field day with it. This kind of thing works in Hollywood film.
— Benjamin Glaser (@WVPitt) April 13, 2015
Maybe Todd is so happy because it will be good for NBC’s “SNL” ratings? Way to be a team player, Chuck!
@chucktodd bs

@chucktodd why don't you just stop acting like a reporter. U aren't.
— roy fletcher (@indiegop) April 13, 2015
@chucktodd oh puuleez… it's only day #1.. save the fawning for later
— Jennifer Rubin (@JRubinBlogger) April 13, 2015
He’ll fawn like this for the next 18 months.
@chucktodd to clarify, you’re saying it DOES look spontaneous?
— Ross ☆ Warren 2020 (@OnceUponARoss) April 13, 2015
@chucktodd @dcbigjohn and you believe it? C'mon. Spontaneous or over the top parody level phony?
— Brad Dayspring (@BDayspring) April 13, 2015
@alwaysonoffense @chucktodd lol, also shame on you chuck. Seriously.
