NY Daily News publishes pics of Jordanian pilot and Kim Kardashian's butt, but not the Charlie Hebdo cover

The New York Daily News certainly does have some strange priorities. After refusing to publish photographs showing Charlie Hebdo covers satirizing Muhammad, they did just publish photos showing ISIS’s execution of Jordanian pilot Moaz al-Kassasbeh by burning him alive (Do not click on the link below if you are trying to avoid seeing the pictures of al-Kassabeh’s murder):

And earlier today, they published another photo from the never newsworthy Kim Kardashian and her nude backside (Do not click on the link below if you are trying to avoid seeing pictures of Kim Karadashian’s tush):

Can anybody explain how the execution of a pilot and a nude pic are less offensive than a cartoon to NYDN readers?
