How Sunday’s ‘Game of Thrones’ is like the Democratic primary in one glorious tweet

It seems that Daenerys Targaryen’s transformation into the Mad Queen and her burning of Kings Landing on Sunday’s “Game of Thrones” is not sitting well some female blue-check. Here are some of the dragon-fire hot takes we’ve seen:

So the woman is a pure savior until she’s a stone’s throw away from power – then she goes mad with ambition? The only way the writers could have made this more sexist is if Dany was on her period.

Daenerys' turn to the Mad Queen would've worked a lot better for me if the writers had teased it from the beginning (or even a few seasons ago!), not suddenly introduced it in the last two episodes to give the show a big shocking final turn. #GameOfThrones
