Category 4 Hurricane Lane is making its way toward the Hawaiian islands, with warnings of the storm being the “biggest weather threat” to the state in decades:

It’s actually pretty rare for a hurricane to ever hit Hawaii:

The major risk from this storm is flooding, which is already underway:

This could turn into a Hurricane Harvey (Houston) type of event with flooding and landslides:
For the most densely populated parts of Hawaii, 30 inches is more than a year's worth of rainfall.
For Honolulu, it's two year's worth of rainfall.
30 inches is about how much rain Houston got during Hurricane Harvey — the worst rain-induced flooding disaster in U.S. history.

But that’s not good enough for liberals who are already saying Trump will ignore what’s going on because Hawaii voted for Hillary Clinton in 2016:
