Judge Rosemarie Aquilina just wrapped up sentencing of Dr. Larry Nassar, the disgraced USA Gymnastics team doctor who pleaded guilty to 7 counts of criminal sexual conduct, and it’s a death sentence: Up to 175 years in prison:

Video of that moment here:

The judge read a letter from Nassar where he attempted to justify his sexual assault as medically necessary treatments. Nassar blamed his victims, writing “Hell hath no fury like a woman scorned”:

Video here:

The look on the judge’s face! SAVAGE:

After reading the letter, Judge Aquilina said she “wouldn’t send my dogs to you, sir”:

She added that she doesn’t think rehabilitation is possible:

And this is powerful: “…it was my honor and privilege to sentence you”:

Nassar won’t even be allowed to treat prisoners while serving his time:

Judge Aquilina also waived court costs so that Nassar’s victims can take him for every damn cent he has to his name:

That’s fantastic.

As far as future media appearances go, Judge Aquilina shut that down, too, unless the victims are the story and not her:

She ended with a call for a “massive investigation” into how this could have happened for so long:

She’s a treasure, that’s for sure:
