Twitchy regular Charlie Daniels took to Twitter on Wednesday night to express his displeasure at NFL athletes and their #TakeAKnee protests, saying he “would ordinarily be watching Thursday Night Football, but for some reason I’m not”:

The blue-check mockery also ignores the bigger picture that the NFL protests are alienating fans. Charlie may have been a day early, but his boycott should be a concern for the owners.
