Briahna Joy Gray is the perfect Exhibit A because she represents the fringe of the fringe but also has a high profile. Gray is a former Bernie Sanders spokesperson and writer for the Intercept. Here she is speaking for way too many people on the Left.

There is the phenomenon, especially on the radical Left, of rejoicing at the death of anyone who had an R after their name because that person was 'literally responsible for a million, billion deaths'. In their minds where 'the personal is political', any policy that doesn't cater to their politics or is 'mean', kills people and therefore they are righteous in hoping for or celebrating that person's demise.
As bad as that is, they hit rock bottom when they celebrated Luigi Mangione's murder of an insurance industry CEO and gnashed their teeth at his guilty plea. You see, the insurance industry has murdered people by denying claims which Gray perversely calls 'corporate genocide'. By the way, this year's hotness is 'genocide'. Everything is genocide. For example, I am suffering from Eggo Waffle genocide since my wife won't buy that any more.
Let's get back to the moral and mental crisis at hand. Gray is not alone.
