During Steve Hilton's California gubernatorial debate with Xavier Becerra, the Republican quoted something Obama and Biden administration alum Susan Rice said about the Democrat candidate back when he was the HHS secretary from 2021 to January 2025.
Rice wasn't happy that Hilton said this:
Becerra's former Democrat colleague Susan Rice once called him an "idiot" and a "bitch-ass." Why?

Rice later demanded that Hilton "stop using my name against" Becerra:
.@SteveHiltonx Make no mistake, I support @XavierBecerra for CA Gov. So stop using my name against him.

Hilton has responded to that.
And he couldn't help but notice what Rice's post does not say.
Notice you're not denying you called Becerra an "idiot" and "bitch-ass", @AmbassadorRice

I will keep reminding Californians that someone who worked closely alongside Becerra for four years thinks he's an "idiot." And you're not the only one...he is obviously not fit for office. https://t.co/p5dTmnaVjR
Also, Rice probably won't like the fact that her comments about Becerra are now part of a campaign website.
Nancy Pelosi told Biden not to put Becerra in his Cabinet. Susan Rice called him an idiot. Obama's speechwriter says "nobody in the administration has anything good to say about him." Here's why Becerra is not fit for public office:https://t.co/9dWUlEAwYW

GREAT endorsement for Becerra from Rice.
Says a lot about Susan Rice to endorse a candidate that she openly believes is an idiot.

No kidding.
