The Jimmy Kimmel Show is doing the thing again where they try to create drama (and YouTube views) by hoping that nobody knows how things really work in over the air broadcasting.
Texas Democrat Senate candidate James Talarico is doing his "one-eighty" tour where he's trying to pretend that he's no longer anything like all the previous loony remarks and policy positions he's on record as having made and supported. Kimmel wanted Talarico on his show but their spin is that Trump's FCC is censoring them.
Much of the TDS media is of course happy to play along with that:

Kimmel didn't want to also interview Talarico's Republican opponent, so they took it to YouTube while hoping the barking seals in their loyal audience don't know how it works.

In actuality Kimmel was self-censoring:

What struck me though was some additional "dishonesty by omission" from Kimmel in the video above. That came when Kimmel said Trump was on his show a couple times back when he was running for president the first time and nobody thought it was a big deal.
Not mentioned of course was that Kimmel also had Hillary Clinton on twice in 2016:

In other words, there was equal time offered back then. Now the only way Kimmel can get extra attention is by pretending Trump's responsible for a broadcast rule that goes back about a century. TDS has broken so many.
