JB Pritzker Trips Over a Stack of Maps While Slamming SCOTUS' Racial Gerrymandering Ruling

Sarah D.

The Democrats continue to have fits in the wake of the Supreme Court's ruling against racial gerrymandering. Have any "journalists" asked them why they like segregation so much?

Ted Cruz framed what the Court really did yesterday away from the noise of the Left's hyperventilating:

Here's what Cruz said, via @SteveGuest:

Cruz explained: “The Supreme Court issued a 6-3 decision. Justice Alito wrote the majority opinion. And in that opinion, the court vindicated the Constitution of the United States. And in particular the 14th Amendment that ensures that all persons in the United States are entitled to equal protection of the laws, and also the 15th Amendment which protects the right to vote regardless of race. And what the court concluded is that it is not permissible for elected politicians to gerrymander based on race, to draw a black seat or a white seat or an Hispanic seat, that when government draws distinctions based on race, that is contrary to the Constitution. I think that question is absolutely correct. Uh as Chief Justice Roberts wrote in a previous case, it is a sorted business this divying us up by race. He also said the best way to stop discriminating on race is to stop discriminating based on race. And and I think the court's decision here says our government should be blind to color. We should be colorblind. We should not discriminate in favor of or against any race. I think the Supreme Court is correct and and and that uh that is the result of decades of litigation to to to get these racial gerrymanders struck down.”

Illinois Gov. JB Pritzker is among Dems having a fit about the ruling:

"Silence" them? Do those people not get to vote as a result of the ruling? Also I rolled my eyes at the "every American deserves an equal vote" part. We all can't be "equal" until the Democrats are allowed to herd us all into separate rooms based on our race.

Pritzker's also getting inundated with maps of his own state. This is his idea of "equal":

Just look at all that equality!

Then again, we have to remember what the Democrat definition of "equality" is...

It's not unlike the Left's definition of "democracy," which is only saved when Democrats win.

In any case, Pritzker's not happy, which means something good for the country just happened.
