Even on the day a terrorist attacked a synagogue in Michigan, the anti-ICE Democrats voted to keep the partial shutdown going which is tying the hands of the Department of Homeland Security, including the TSA, FEMA and other agencies. If you're standing in a very long security line at the airport, thank a Democrat.
The Democrats continue their weak effort to blame Republicans for not caving to their ridiculous demand that ICE be scrapped in order for the Dems to vote for DHS funding. The Dems are once again going to the mat for their top priorities: Protecting illegal aliens and opposing voter ID (the two are not unrelated).
Former Transportation Secretary Pete Buttigieg is among the Dems trying to blame the Right:
Buttigieg: It is insane that it takes Democrats pushing the administration for them to say that they're not going to deport U.S. Citizens… We are seeing longer and longer lines at the airports because Republicans refuse Democratic proposals to fund TSA. pic.twitter.com/nop3Tj8Yya

That's a lot of words to admit that the Democrats are responsible for keeping DHS shut down during a heightened threat level. The Senate Democrats are the ones voting "no," Pete, not the Republicans.
Occasionally, however, a Democrat can make an admission.

That's from Democrat Rep. Don Beyer:
"It's not forcing any change," said Rep. Don Beyer (D-Va.). "In the meantime, we're making people hurt. The long lines, that can't make us more popular."
Get that on the air, Republicans!

Record it and run it!
A bold strategy, making people suffer for illegal aliens by waiting in long lines? Let’s see if the voters support them.

It's a quote that deserves to be repeated far and wide.
