The invasion at the southern border of the United States started even before Joe Biden and President Autopen took office when the invitations were sent out before them 2020 election took place:
Biden ended up in the White House and you know what happened next.
However, the media's efforts to try and make it look like there was some sort of border security effort on the part of the Biden administration continues, and the New York Times is, as usual, happy to help provide some spin:
Trump has deported 540,000 people, fewer than in either of Biden's last 2 years. But Biden deportations focused on the border, now mainly shut. Trump has targeted those in the country and has removed 230,000 of them, more than Biden in 4 years. @albertsun https://t.co/W1c34BX4CB

The Times was able to pad Biden's "deportation" numbers with a little help:
They erroneously counted turn backs as deportations.

Biden let in 10 MILLION people.
Grossly misleading from the conartist at the NYT - Biden & Obama counted turnaways at the border as deportations https://t.co/sKt612Ru4I

Turning people away at the border aren’t “deportations” no matter how hard the Times and Dems try to make it so. And the Biden admin only did that because their open borders was backfiring badly on Dems with the election approaching and even the autopen saw it coming.

I believe the Biden/Obama “deportations” were really “turn aways” at the border ie they never got into the country yet they counted them as “deportations” to create fake data

If Biden, Harris and Mayorkas hadn't invited and allowed an invasion while the Democrats created "sanctuaries" for them if wouldn't have been necessary for Team Trump to clean up the mess. All it took was an administration that wanted a secure border despite all the Democrat attempts to claim new legislation was needed.
If I’m reading the chart properly, not only did Trump do more interior deportations in one year then Biden had in his entire presidency, he had the highest number in a single year in at least a dozen years. https://t.co/adzcl3jqM1

BTW, @peterbakernyt is a very smart guy and he knows this post is crap. The damage "journalists" have chosen to do to their reputations in response to Trump is far worse than anything he could have done to them. https://t.co/RtYOXIqIOe

Indeed.
Trump's deportations unlike Biden's can't just cross the border again. Once they are deported they are gone. https://t.co/GgIQMEbyt0

Unless of course voters put a Democrat back in the White House, in which case heaven help us.
The Times' story includes this:
Under Mr. Trump, immigration arrests and deportations are much more visible and disruptive to communities across the country. The administration has also aggressively publicized its enforcement actions with a steady stream of slickly produced videos, memes and mug shots.
In the past, ICE made most of its arrests in partnership with local jails and prisons, quietly taking into custody immigrants who had already been arrested by another law enforcement agency.
That's because now local officials in blue cities aren't cooperating with ICE, which forces them to go into communities to arrest these people. It's all intentional on the part of the Democrats and they don't care who gets harmed in the process.
