Earlier this month, Katie Couric, who some in the last few decades have tried to pass off as an objective journalist, came out and said she was finished trying to be impartial about President Trump.
Stop laughing! That's what she said, all while hoping people actually believed she'd been objective in previous years.
Katie Couric Admits She's No Longer 'Trying to Be Impartial' About Trump https://t.co/4ur6dOJsl7

The former co-host of The Today Show on NBC spoke with Sen. John Fetterman this week. Fetterman was one Dem senator who voted repeatedly to pass the CR and open the federal government back up, which caused some criticism from his own side of the aisle. Something else that angers Dems and some media types about Fetterman is his refusal to go with the "Trump is Hitler" talking points.
Couric tried to get the senator from Pennsylvania to go there during their chat and wasn't happy that he wouldn't take the handoff and run with it:
🚨NEW: Katie Couric *REPEATEDLY* tries to bait John Fetterman into calling Trump fascist — he doesn't bite🚨

FETTERMAN: "I think at this point right now, we are not in an autocracy. We’re in a democracy."
COURIC: "Would you concede that some of the things that he is doing are… pic.twitter.com/m2rrm8s0B5
Here's the full exchange via @JasonJournoDC:
FETTERMAN: "I think at this point right now, we are not in an autocracy. We’re in a democracy."
COURIC: "Would you concede that some of the things that he is doing are clearly anti-democratic and also are potentially even unconstitutional?"
FETTERMAN: "We happen to have a different view of these things. I don’t call people fascists or Nazis or compare people to Hitler."
Couric wanted a different response and it showed:

We see that silent "come on, just play along" look on the faces of journos sometimes when a guest isn't going where they're trying to lead them.
MSM: "So what do you think?"

Anyone: "I think this."
MSM: "Are you sure you think that? You meant to say this other thing..."
She reported the news for years, does anybody think she was objective, nope?! https://t.co/h58WoPvepr

No, and the fact that just now she's pretending to stop being impartial is laughable. Couric's not a "journalist" but a career in comedy is definitely still possible.
