Is there a bigger bunch of self-aggrandizing lying hacks than "journalists"?
That was more than evident yet again during the White House Correspondents Dinner over the weekend.
ABC News put it this way:
There was no president. There was no comedian. What remained at the White House Correspondents' Association's annual dinner on Saturday night were the journalists and the First Amendment. https://t.co/d2Mzm8Y0T0

Oh, there were several "comedians" there, ABC. They were some of the journalists explaining that they "missed" the Biden cognitive decline story when in fact they ignored it or actively helped Dems call it "misinformation" and "cheap fakes."
The media just now pretending that they didn't try their best to help the Democrats hide the obvious just makes trust in their "journalism" even lower (if that's even possible at this point).

This video of Alex Thompson of Axios explaining what the media "missed" has been making the rounds:
.@AlexThomp: "President Biden's decline and its coverup by the people around him is a reminder that every White House regardless of party is capable of deception...We, myself included, missed a lot of this story and some people trust us less because of it." #whcd #nerdprom pic.twitter.com/L9CtbB3HIZ

The full quote if you can't see it all above:
"President Biden's decline and its coverup by the people around him is a reminder that every White House regardless of party is capable of deception...We, myself included, missed a lot of this story and some people trust us less because of it."
The corporate media didn't "miss" anything. They were active participants in the coverup. Here are just a few examples:

‘CHEAP FAKES!’ The Biden campaign is so screwed that today, they rolled out a new strategy to tell Americans they can't believe their own eyes when seeing video evidence of Biden's mental decline.

Thompson has co-authored a book with CNN's Jake Tapper about the coverup of Biden's condition, which is basically the "we're all trying to find the guy who did this" hot dog meme coming to life.

This is a doozy as well:
Biden’s weird phrases are sometimes weaponized by the GOP to insinuate the 80-year-old president is in mental decline.
— Alex Thompson (@AlexThomp) June 18, 2023
But Biden has been using these unique phrases for years — even as some of his aides remain confused by their meaning.
The media was pushing this stuff even while everybody else was watching the White House Easter bunny serve as Biden's personal Visiting Angels caregiver. Now they're pretending they just "missed" the story and taking a wrecking ball and pulverizing the already crumbled remains of "journalism."
