Early in 2023, as a Chinese spy balloon floated its way across the entire continental United States, President Biden and the White House tried to downplay the story. Biden said at the time "this is not a major breach."
Except it was:
The Chinese spy balloon that flew across the U.S. was able to gather intelligence from several sensitive American military sites, despite the Biden administration’s efforts to block it from doing so, according to two current senior U.S. officials and one former senior administration official.
China was able to control the balloon so it could make multiple passes over some of the sites (at times flying figure eight formations) and transmit the information it collected back to Beijing in real time, the three officials said. The intelligence China collected was mostly from electronic signals, which can be picked up from weapons systems or include communications from base personnel, rather than images, the officials said.
How hard must China's leadership be laughing at Biden?
Now we have the issue of the mystery drones that have been spotted many times in areas along the east coast, mostly near or over New Jersey. We don't know if China has anything to do with it, but that wouldn't be surprising considering what Biden's already let them get away with.
Biden was asked about that last night his response wasn't surprising considering the kinds of things he said during the spy balloon fiasco:

Biden finally addresses the drones that have been hovering above the East Coast for weeks: "Nothing nefarious, apparently."

"Everybody wanted to get in their deal"? What?

Completely reassured after this robust response https://t.co/k7qT58rlEm
I have no idea who is actually at the helm of the U.S., but that person is not Biden.
Everybody wanted to get in on spying? Or what?

We still don't know what these drones are for and where they're coming from, but Biden and the White House tried to downplay the Chinese spy balloon in a similar fashion.
"Nothing nefarious, apparently."?

Apparently? You would think he would know but then again, maybe that's just for actual Presidents to know.
Everybody wanted to get in the deal!! 🤦♂️

Exactly what "deal" is Biden referring to? Will the drone operators, whoever they are, be asking for pardons?
They wanted 4 more years of this guy https://t.co/0uj7U6OR6D

Not long ago they were saying Biden was "as sharp as a tack" and any video evidence to the contrary were "cheap fakes." Good times.
On Monday, Donald Trump said the government knows for sure what the drones are doing and who's responsible but for some reason won't say. That doesn't necessarily mean that Biden knows what's going on, so I'll cut Joe some slack because he could actually be clueless about this and many other matters.
