CNN contributor Scott Jennings has an uncanny ability to demolish Left-wing talking points with extreme ease, and here's just one recent example:
HOLY SMOKES: @ScottJenningsKY just went scorched earth on Carl Bernstein and CNN panel defending Pete Hegseth —

With that kind of skill at shredding liberal talking points, there are rumors that Jennings might be under consideration to be Donald Trump's press secretary.
Suddenly, the selective "journalistic ethics" crowd in the media has spotted a problem:
Some at CNN wonder if Scott Jennings should still be appearing on CNN (he’s currently on the network rebutting criticisms of RFK) while reportedly in contention for the White House press secretary job

NOW that's a problem?
Do these people remember what happened with Jen Psaki? But it was "D"ifferent that time:

Can you link me to your concern when Jen Psaki *actually was* the press secretary and was actively negotiating with MSNBC? And stayed press secretary for months even after getting a deal there?

Surely you wrote a piece or tweeted about it, right? https://t.co/Oltno3U76E
And yet the media keep wondering why the level of disgust with their garbage industry is at a record high.
Washington Post “media reporter” thinks the problem with CNN’s 99 Democrat activists to one Republican … is the Republican. https://t.co/r0IlJgK5AA

Jen Psaki was pitching a show to the networks while holding daily press briefings, controlling access to the president. She hired an agent while she was press secretary! https://t.co/o5zU0Qw0Cy

When Karine Jean-Pierre leaves her job of lying from the White House podium to lying on MSNBC or CNN, and deal which might already have been made, these same people won't say a word.

Then there's the Harris campaign paying a lot of money to the non-profit of an MSNBC host who then interviewed her.

Nothing to see here:
Kamala Harris’s presidential campaign donated $500,000 to Al Sharpton’s nonprofit organization just weeks before the anti-Semitic MSNBC host—who once said that "diamond merchant" Jews have the "blood of innocent babies" on their hands—conducted a friendly interview with Harris.
Has Sharpton paid his back taxes yet? If not he can now afford to thanks to the Harris campaign. But the super-serious "journalists" triggered by what the Republicans are doing don't seem to have a problem with a candidate giving money to her interviewer.
There's the "concern about journalistic ethics," and then there's what's actually troubling to some at CNN (and elsewhere):
Some at CNN are jealous that Scott wipes the floor with them daily.

That's what it boils down to!
All I know is that it'll be nice to be able to go a day soon without having to put up with Karine Jean-Pierre's BS.
