'Proud Conservative' Adam Kinzinger Having Second Thoughts Just Days After Endorsing Biden?

Meme

This could be a new record for a "how it started / how it's going" story when it comes to the short time span between the two.

As we told you three days ago, "proud conservative" and former congressman Adam Kinzinger gave an enthusiastic endorsement of President Biden's reelection effort:

That's the "how it started" part.

The next day was the presidential debate, and, well, you know how that went for Biden.

Which brings us to the "how it's going" part:

The former congressman seems to be having second thoughts about Biden even though he was the same Biden when he got Kinzinger's endorsement, but this president's supporters along with the media just chose not to see it

Former Rep. Adam Kinzinger (R-Ill.) said Friday that Democrats need to find “the best candidate to defend democracy” in the wake of a widely criticized performance by President Biden in the presidential debate.

“I’m not gonna go there, because that’s gonna be a messy process,” Kinzinger said when asked by CNN anchor Wolf Blitzer if he believes “it would be a good idea” for Biden to take himself off the top of the Democratic ticket.

“Democrats have to figure out how to put up the best candidate — and that may be Joe Biden — but how to put up the best candidate to defend democracy, because the risk in November is not a joke,” said Kinzinger, one of 10 Republicans who voted to impeach former President Trump in the wake of the Jan. 6, 2021, Capitol riot.

Since endorsing Biden and after the debate, Kinzinger's also been sharing the opinion of others, including Joe Scarborough, that Biden should step aside.

Kinzinger is now trying to explain himself to the lefty media:

The way Kinzinger replied "NO" was particularly funny. That sounds more like the high pitched "NO" you'd get after asking your teenager if he cares to explain why he's been in the bathroom so long.

One thing's for sure: Watching these people being forced to go down with the ship they've lashed themselves to the deck of would be incredibly entertaining, and hopefully it happens.
