Biden admin not letting US hitting debt ceiling stop them from sending more $$$ to Ukraine

The Biden White House and other Dems have been warning that if the debt ceiling isn’t raised it will result in devastating cuts, human sacrifice, dogs & cats living together — mass hysteria! Because of that, there will be no negotiation with Republicans when it comes to raising the debt ceiling without conditions:

Yesterday the New York Times published a story asking “how bad will it be” when the debt ceiling is hit:

The United States hit its technical debt limit on Thursday, prompting the Treasury Department to begin using “extraordinary measures” to continue paying the government’s obligations. Those are essentially fiscal accounting tools that curb certain government investments so that the bills continue to be paid.

Those options could be exhausted by June, Ms. Yellen told Congress last week. The Bipartisan Policy Center, which closely tracks the debt limit deadline, estimates that the Treasury will really run out of cash — what’s known as the X-date — sometime around the middle of the year.

“How bad will it be”? Well, probably not too bad if you’re Ukraine President Zelenskyy, because the Biden admin is still going to be sending money:

The Biden State Department/DoD must have found some extra money under the couch cushions:

Today, the Department of Defense (DoD) announces the authorization of a Presidential Drawdown of security assistance to meet Ukraine’s critical security and defense needs. This authorization, which is valued at up to $2.5 billion, is the Biden Administration’s thirtieth drawdown of equipment from DoD inventories for Ukraine since August 2021.

Are they making sure there’s enough equipment and money left to meet the United States’ security and defense needs?
