Glenn Beck had an interview with Dreyfuss who explained his concern this way, and it’s true there’s a woeful lack of civics education in the United States. Watch:
.@RichardDreyfuss tells me he gave up acting "ONLY for something I loved as much, which was saving my country…It infuriates me that people don't understand what this place means." pic.twitter.com/Zxshkqa0aJ

A bit of common sense coming from a celebrity is always a welcome respite.

Far too many with a Hollywood background spend so much of their time and energy bashing America and its founding principles that this was refreshing to see.
What a great interview or better said, chat between friends. Two intelligent men coming from different sides united by something more important; the love of this country and what it was established for. Thank you Glenn and Richard.

Richard is so right! Keep fighting and start learning why she [America] is worth saving.

This is something on which I hope most of the Left & the Right (whatever those labels even mean anymore) can concur. https://t.co/Ld95riTOSQ

You would hope, but those numbers appear to be dwindling.
