Biden sending Ukraine 'largest yet delivery of arms from US stockpiles' plus another $4.5 billion in cash

Before today — earlier this month — the U.S. Department of Defense had this update on assistance that’s been sent to Ukraine during the Biden administration:

Capabilities in this package include equipment the Ukrainians are using effectively to defend their country such as:

1. 75,000 rounds of 155mm artillery ammunition;

2. Additional ammunition for High Mobility Artillery Rocket Systems (HIMARS).

In total, the United States has committed approximately $8.8 billion in security assistance to Ukraine since the beginning of the Biden Administration. Since 2014, the United States has committed more than $10 billion in security assistance to Ukraine.

To meet its evolving battlefield requirements, the United States will continue to work with its Allies and partners to provide Ukraine with key capabilities.

Fast forward to today, and now even more aid is being sent to Ukraine. Let’s start with the weapons and equipment:

But wait, there’s more! Ukraine is also getting a billion dollars worth of U.S. weapons and another $4.5 billion in cash:

Here’s the weapons aid announcement from the Defense Department:

Attributed to Acting Pentagon Press Secretary Todd Breasseale:

Today, the Department of Defense (DoD) announces the authorization of a Presidential Drawdown of security assistance valued at up to $1 billion to meet Ukraine’s critical security and defense needs. This authorization is the Biden Administration’s eighteenth drawdown of equipment from DoD inventories for Ukraine since August 2021. It is the largest single drawdown of U.S. arms and equipment utilizing this authority, and this package provides a significant amount of additional ammunition, weapons, and equipment – the types of which the Ukrainian people are using so effectively to defend their country.

And here’s the cash announcement from USAID:

They should have had Jessica Chastain deliver the latest pile of cash while she was in Ukraine.

When Biden was running for president he made it clear that if he were elected the days of Trump’s “America first” policies were over, and he wasn’t joking.

Send all those new IRS agents to Ukraine and have them find out what’s actually happening to all this money (yeah, we know that’ll never happen).

Coincidental timing has been spotted:

Is it possible that a “journalist” at CBS News got a call from somebody at the White House?
