NBC's Howard Fineman wants us to pause and appreciate an unpopular president's decades of foreign policy experience

President Biden is still in Poland meeting with that country’s president and others about the situation in Ukraine. Yesterday Biden visited US troops stationed in Poland and let them know what they’d be seeing in Ukraine, at which point the White House quickly reiterated that the president will not be putting any American boots on the ground in Ukraine.

Meanwhile, NBC News analyst Howard Fineman is requesting that everybody take time to appreciate something amid Biden’s lack of popularity:

What say you, Team Reality?

Just ask Robert Gates, who was the Defense Secretary under George W. Bush and Barack Obama:

“I think he has been wrong on nearly every major foreign policy and national security issue over the past four decades,” former Defense Secretary Robert Gates says of Vice President Joe Biden in his new book coming out later this month.

As for some of the replies, yikes.

Fineman’s certainly right about the “unpopular” part:

Howard Fineman says Joe Biden’s unconditional love and good father’s decency will win out over putrid viciousness

‘Do I detect some mansplaining?’ NBC/MSNBC analyst Howard Fineman seems to have a problem with ‘uppity woman’ Amy Coney Barrett

Class is in SESSION: NBC’s Howard Fineman calls Trump a ‘Cold War traitor’ and gets absolutely SCHOOLED by Mollie Hemingway
