President Biden is still in Poland meeting with that country’s president and others about the situation in Ukraine. Yesterday Biden visited US troops stationed in Poland and let them know what they’d be seeing in Ukraine, at which point the White House quickly reiterated that the president will not be putting any American boots on the ground in Ukraine.
Meanwhile, NBC News analyst Howard Fineman is requesting that everybody take time to appreciate something amid Biden’s lack of popularity:
Please, everyone, pause the fury for a minute and admit that @joeBiden, as unpopular as he is and as tough a hand as he has to play, so far is deftly handling #Putin, #Ukraine, #NATO and #EU. All those decades of learning foreign affairs from the ground up count for a lot. pic.twitter.com/tNbTNaUn3V

What say you, Team Reality?
I hope you are being sarcastic.

smh Putin's army is failing because they were not prepared, Ukrainian people are fighting back harder than anyone would have thought. That last sentence is pathetic, Howard. You know his record on foreign policy, it's horrible. https://t.co/utlxkn47EM

Just ask Robert Gates, who was the Defense Secretary under George W. Bush and Barack Obama:
“I think he has been wrong on nearly every major foreign policy and national security issue over the past four decades,” former Defense Secretary Robert Gates says of Vice President Joe Biden in his new book coming out later this month.
As for some of the replies, yikes.
The comments on this are like entering an alternate universe. https://t.co/iYicCO5umb

Fineman’s certainly right about the “unpopular” part:
New poll (Grinnell/Seltzer) on Biden's job as a president. I think it's even lower, but this is pretty bad. pic.twitter.com/nXNHFzShib
