There’s been a bit of an ongoing PR effort intended to help absolve actor Alec Baldwin of responsibility for the on-set shooting that killed Halyna Hutchins. Baldwin has now joined that effort:
Alec Baldwin Urges Hollywood to Employ Police Officers on Film and TV Sets Using Real or Fake Guns https://t.co/ACwTsJMDP0
— The Hollywood Reporter (@THR) November 8, 2021
This is what Baldwin tweeted this morning:
Baldwin is the producer of the movie where a woman was killed and a man injured but apparently it didn’t occur to him to do that before tragedy struck.
Or, hear me out, they should only employ actors who understand the basics of gun safety and aren't too lazy to spend 5 seconds checking and clearing a gun before using it on set. https://t.co/8IWvDuRidk

Or…and hear me out. Those using real guns should be required to take Gun Safety classes before being handed one on set. https://t.co/BEsJT6ZKtp

It’s shocking that in Hollywood people use real guns without any training… around other people on a crowded set.

Lefty Hollywood could never bring themselves to admit that they could really use a lot of NRA training:
@AlecBaldwin will do everything he can to deflect attention and responsibility away from his negligence that resulted in the death of an innocent woman. If he took time off from bashing the NRA and spent 5 minutes on gun safety this wouldn't have happened.

Or take nra safety courses
