The media’s “Republicans seize and/or pounce” game remains strong, but today’s offering from Politico about the not-so-great economy took a slightly subtler approach:

The subhead is also special: “It’s not just Republicans who are assigning responsibility to the administration for the rocky economic recovery, polls show.”

“Assigning responsibility to the administration”? LOL. If the economy were tanking under Trump we think that would be phrased very differently.

Judging from the Biden administration’s multiple crises and screw-ups, there’s going to be a record amount of “Republicans pounce” coming from the media in the next few months.
