Puh-LEEZE! Biden adviser says food prices aren't skyrocketing (if you don't count a few things)

You might remember back in early July when the Biden White House claiming to have saved the average American family 16 cents on their Independence Day barbecue. It was cringeworthy:

Planning a cookout this year? Ketchup on the news. According to the Farm Bureau, the cost of a 4th of July BBQ is down from last year. It’s a fact you must-hear(d). Hot dog, the Biden economic plan is working. And that’s something we can all relish. pic.twitter.com/7h9qLauIbC

Just a couple of months ago, the Biden White House wanted everybody to believe they were saving them a little (very little) money on food. Compare and contrast that with today’s acknowledgment of reality:

Psaki opens up press briefing by talking about what the Biden Admin is doing to lower food prices.

A few months ago, they were denying costs were even increasing.

We have a president who wants everybody to believe that spending another few trillion dollars will help bring down inflation, so confidence is extremely low that they’ll actually bring down the price of anything.
