As we told you yesterday, White House press secretary Jen Psaki did not deny that President Biden checked his watch multiple times during the dignified transfer ceremony for the 13 U.S. service members killed in the attack at the Kabul airport. Psaki instead dodged the question and moved on:

Ari Fleischer slammed the White House press for failing to follow up:
The families of the 13 members of the military who lost their lives in Afghanistan deserve an answer to why Pres. Biden kept checking his watch at the dignified transfer. The WH press corps needs to act more like its elders, who held GHW Bush to account when he checked his. pic.twitter.com/W1ipkHgEfx

It’s amazing to me that this was not a point of contention at yesterday’s WH briefing. The WH press secretary was asked once about it. She didn’t answer. The failure of the press corps to follow up is another sign of how soft they are on Pres. Biden. It’s inexcusable.

Most of the media will be more than willing to let the Biden administration move away from this story, but we were also a little surprised Psaki didn’t have a spin at the ready.
They're now claiming he was touching a rosary … not holding it, but touching it because no one wears a rosary around ones wrist (except Joe Biden).

I hope Team Biden is reminded every day until they leave office that people died unnecessarily so he could brag on September 11 about his accomplishments.
Brag away, Mr. President. https://t.co/ptYy8ovIzv
