Back in February, GOP Rep. Steve Scalise tweeted about demanding a Justice Department investigation into Covid-19 related nursing home deaths in several states:

Today, Scalise heard the DOJ’s decision:

Janice Dean, who lost two in-laws to Covid-19 in New York care facilities, shared the letter:

We can’t help but wonder what the Biden DOJ’s decision would have been if the states with tragically high nursing home deaths had Republican governors.
