Or we can actually let cops do their jobs, enforce laws, stop coddling savages and releasing them with no bail, and make a criminals think twice about committing crimes because of consequences.

Supporting communities means making them safe. You need to remove violent criminals to do that. Jails/Prisons do not cause crime they prevent it. Prison Reform is an option worth considering but you don't abolish prisons and you don't abolish the police.
