Yesterday the story broke that CNN’s Chris Cuomo received special Covid-19 testing treatment from New York State officials because his brother is the state’s governor.
At that point CNN went into damage control mode and released a lame statement:

LAME!
New York Post columnist Karol Markowicz tore that to shreds:
It's sort of convenient that CNN does not "get involved in the medical decisions of our employees" now. Chris Cuomo having COVID was an actual storyline on the network. pic.twitter.com/08cMhI2Xql

Maybe everybody at CNN spends so much time watching Fox News that they don’t pay attention to what happens on their own network.
He announced he had COVID on his show. He then broke quaranting, while actually sick with the virus, and was confronted by a bicyclist. I have a whole timeline thread starting here. https://t.co/6vytuPdLeD

AFTER the story broke that Chris had actually broken quarantine WHILE COVID positive, CNN's resident doctor Sanjay Gupta was on Chris's show to discuss that Chris was still having symptoms. CNN knew what he had done. Dr. Gupta knew what he had done. https://t.co/S4AkZCd55O

Then Chris had Gov. Cuomo on his show to discuss that Chris's wife was now COVID positive. Sure seems like CNN gets involved in the private medical situations of their employees. https://t.co/36IzCJPl3I

The official status of CNN’s statement is been downgraded to “Total BS.”
It also dodges the actual problem – Chris Cuomo knew the governor of New York was improperly giving people special treatment and didn't tell anyone and interviewed him repeatedly.

CNN even staged a fake video of him leaving ‘quarantine’ to promote that storyline.

Same as when Chris said he was morally obligated to keep out of his brother’s stories but had zero issue reviving the Smothers Brothers’ routine nightly in place of news coverage

If you're not following @karol you should. She's the best.
Also, the Cuomo dopey brothers don't stand a chance against her meticulous fact checking. https://t.co/MetHGMaKi7
