THUD! Claire McCaskill's rush to slam Mitch McConnell for 'destroying Senate norms' ends in hard trip over Harry Reid

As we told you earlier, the House continues to stall sending the articles of impeachment to the Senate, and Nancy Pelosi is trying to pin blame on Mitch McConnell for refusing to capitulate to Chuck Schumer’s demands:

The House cannot choose our impeachment managers until we know what sort of trial the Senate will conduct.

President Trump blocked his own witnesses and documents from the House, and from the American people, on phony complaints about the House process. What is his excuse now?

Democrats — even former members of Congress — are trying to help Pelosi and Schumer sell that narrative. Claire McCaskill is among them:

McCaskill made the remarks on “Meet the Press”:
