As we told you earlier, Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez was fit to be tied after Nancy Pelosi caved and said the House would vote to pass a Senate bill containing emergency border funding. AOC was among House Dems blaming Mitch McConnell:
Under no circumstances should the House vote for a McConnell-only bill w/ no negotiation with Democrats. Hell no.
That’s an abdication of power we should refuse to accept. They will keep hurting kids if we do.

Fox News congressional reporter Chad Pergram smacked down claims like that with one reality checking tweet:
Mulitple Dems saying the House has to accept the Senate bill because of “Mitch McConnell.” Never mind that the Senate ok’d the Senate border bill 84-8, the bill got out of the Appropriations Committee 30-1 and Leahy wrote the bill in tandem with Senate Apps Chair Shelby
