As we told you yesterday, Democrat Rep. Jerrold Nadler came out after the Judiciary Committee voted to hold Attorney General Bill Barr in contempt for not releasing an unredacted Mueller report and told reporters that the U.S. is in a “constitutional crisis” (a talking point the media quickly picked up and ran with).
This morning, Nancy Pelosi said she agreed with Nadler:
Reporter: Do you agree with Chairman Nadler that America is currently in a constitutional crisis?

So does that mean the House Speaker will move to impeach? Here’s how Pelosi side-stepped that for now:
Pelosi:
The President is almost self-impeaching because he is showing more obstruction— Chad Pergram (@ChadPergram) May 9, 2019
Speaker Nancy Pelosi tells @marykbruce impeachment should be "very constitution-based," but Trump is "almost self-impeaching because he is every day demonstrating more obstruction of justice and disrespect for Congress' legitimate role to subpoena" https://t.co/lqUl955Hua pic.twitter.com/CYFDXwMvlx

And that’s why Rep. Al Green admitted the other day that the Dems should impeach Trump now simply because there’s a chance he could win re-election in 2020.
