Hot take alert! David Hogg counters Mike Pence's pro-#2A tweet with a reminder about what Jesus didn't own

Vice President Mike Pence spoke to the crowd in Indianapolis at the annual NRA meeting yesterday, and he also tweeted about the 2nd Amendment and the Trump administration:

Under this President and this administration, the right to keep and bear arms shall not be infringed! ??

— Vice President Mike Pence (@VP) April 26, 2019

Later on, David Hogg tried to make a point of some sort:

Remind me

How many AR-15s did Jesus own?

— David Hogg (@davidhogg111) April 27, 2019

So… wait, what?

How many tweets did he send? https://t.co/KnEmoABSJj

Same number of Twitter accounts

How many microwaves did he own? https://t.co/KRIZNX6Zjj

He also didn’t own a smartphone, so you should probably stop tweeting if being Christ-like is a concern. https://t.co/YwVpdzfPqS

Hogg shouldn’t try to dabble in history lessons when he’s already proven he doesn’t remember who was president between 2012 and 2016.

Yes David, let’s take away everyone’s guns…what’s left? Oh yeah bad people with guns and responsible citizens defenseless.

And here I thought @ericswalwell was an idiot for wanting to nuke gun owners.

Congrats! You just made him sound like a genius. https://t.co/CCcLQ60ITo

Google, how do I delete someone else's tweet? https://t.co/VkDoknselp

My worry is that this is taken as clever by a nontrivial swath of citizens in our republic. https://t.co/DgrBP8C8v5

Without a doubt, but even still…

You are the best spokesman the NRA ever had. pic.twitter.com/uTRnOEfSVd

That could very well be the case!
