President Trump is headed back to the U.S. after no deals were made during his meetings with Kim Jong Un. Journos on the scene have already made their displeasure with Trump known, and it’s perhaps due to that frustration that the summit ending without a deal sparked this kind of snark:

Do “deal makers” fail if they don’t make a deal at every meeting?
So Trump gets mocked for not making a bad deal? ? https://t.co/8Ghl7NZeTp

And we problably haven’t seen the last of it from self-described “journalists”:
Reagan walked away from Gorbie before he got the deal he wanted and in time broke the USSR

Reagan met and walked away 4 times before a deal was struck ! I wish journalists would review history more and be less partisan!
I Do Not want our POTUS to make a crappy deal I rather he walk away.— Jane (@txgforever) February 28, 2019
One of the ways you get a good deal is the ability to walk away. He could easily sign a deal and you people would say it was a bad deal and criticize him. He is right, he can never win. Meanwhile Obama ignored the problem and you never called him out. Good job, media.

If Trump would have made a deal there no doubt would have been some snark from “journalists.”
