Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez was on a Showtime program recently explaining her plan to tax the rich, and you’ll also be interested to know that she’s decided how much is “enough”:

Jedediah Bila offered up this answer:

Like, it’s America. We don’t, like, have government officials, like, decide when people have, like, made enough money. https://t.co/NBEQbRhIlk

Nailed it!

Govt setting an arbitrary number on when they've determined you've exceeded your risks & hard work benefits. Sounds very American.

If someone risk $1 of THEIR money to start a business and they can turn that $1 into a million, billion or trillion while paying dues, user fees, Regs, all taxes, wages, insurance & other costs of doing business, what right does the government have to THEIR unlimited success?

What planet is she from? I’ve never had much money, but I’d never begrudge someone who’s taken chances/risks to make it.

Same old story from the left.success is evil and immoral, they need to be punished and confiscated!

And that rhetoric seems to be ramping up and becoming even more mainstream on the Dem side, especially with the 2020 election around the corner.
