Earlier this month incumbent Democrat Sen. Claire McCaskill lost her bid for re-election in Missouri. It’s possible that McCaskill was attempting to shore up her resume before sending it off to CNN or MSNBC with this swipe at Fox News that’s supposed to show that they don’t cover the “serious” stuff:
