THUD: Obama bro Jon Favreau trips over Joe Manchin during celebration of 'bipartisan opposition' to Kavanagh

As we told you earlier, the Senate voted 51-49 to advance the nomination of Brett Kavanaugh to a final vote that could take place late on Saturday. Republican Lisa Murkowski joined all Democrats in voting “no” on cloture, and former Obama speechwriter Jon Favreau put it this way:

Democrat Joe Manchin voted “yes” on cloture, so fact check: TRUE.

However, this was just the cloture vote. The final vote results remain to be seen.
