The incident in Münster occured on the anniversary of the Stockholm van attack. On April 7, 2017, Rakhmat Akilov, a rejected asylum seeker, hijacked a lorry and drove it into a crowd of civilians. Five people were killed and 14 others were seriously injured.

Authorities in Germany have yet to release much information about the driver, who reportedly killed himself, other than to say he had mental problems. As for the attackers chosen weapon, CNN spotted a trend:
Muenster, Germany, joins a list of other cities that have fallen victim to a growing trend — vehicles as weapons https://t.co/ob0NBjCWlA pic.twitter.com/VBS0ePJ5cp

Speaking of trends:
Oh we’re blaming the object now, CNN? https://t.co/KSHAIf2a7t

So now as with the gun, the vehicle is to blame, CNN?

Not the man who drove the vehicle but the vehicle itself.
Not the man that pulled the trigger but the guns and every law abiding gun owner.
Not the knifer but the knives. https://t.co/Wtr1TldY6n— Ryan B. Leslie (@RyanBLeslie) April 7, 2018
Using the Left’s playbook, there are some steps that could be taken to make sure such a thing never happens again.
Boycott AAA!

Common sense vehicle control, no large capacity vans, no automatic transmissions,, ban AAA now!
— Uncle Cletus ? (@OzarkMonkeyRat) April 7, 2018
Does Germany have AAA? Wondering because by Leftist logic (branding the NRA a “terrorist organization” after a shooting) they, too, are now a ‘terrorist organization’ with ‘blood on their hands’ for today’s attack in #Muenster

So the solution is absolutely transparent cars…right?

Maybe raise the driving age to 21….

Maybe CNN should consider a follow-up town hall about this.
Can’t wait for your townhall on Assault Vehicles https://t.co/Pv0wmIRxEV
