Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School student-activist David Hogg has accused Florida Sen. Marco Rubio of trading lives of students in return for NRA donations. Hogg did so at Saturday’s March for Our Lives:
"I’m going to start off by putting this price tag right here as a reminder for you guys to know how much Marco Rubio took for every student's life in Florida," Parkland survivor David Hogg says at #MarchForOurLives. pic.twitter.com/i54QSygI4C

Some 48 hours after Saturday’s protest, David Hogg was among CNN’s guests this morning:
"We are not trying to take your guns. … We just don't think that if you have a criminal history, a history of mental illness or a history of domestic violence that you should be able to get a weapon." – Florida school shooting survivor David Hogg https://t.co/ur27ii66Ah pic.twitter.com/iCm0nmAJIF

During the segment, host Alisyn Camerota reminded Hogg, preceded by a verbal disclaimer, about what Rubio has done since the shooting:
.@davidhogg111 admits that his rage against Senator @marcorubio is misplaced since Rubio is one of the only ones who has been working across the isle to solve the shooting epidemic. pic.twitter.com/oUvTfdf73q

The gun control crowd’s whole narrative about Rubio just came crashing down, but if we had to guess, that won’t stop the original talking points from being repeated.
noted by @AndrewJKugle, CNN host has to preface her fact-check with "I'm not a Marco Rubio spokesperson." Can't just fact-check straight up, obviously she must indicate to audience she is on the side of goodness. Classic. https://t.co/w4bIFNqlGn

She’s trying so hard not to offend a couple of teenagers. It’s hilarious

Funny how he doesn't have any introspect when he's speaking in front of crowds, calling the NRA murderers, and his "price tag" stunt.
He had PLENTY of time to think that thru first, and didn't. THIS is why the #MarchForOurLives won't result in anything other than ignoring them.
