'The irony’: Anti-cop demonstrator at #DisarmNYPD flag burning protected by police

As Twitchy reported last night, Disarm NYPD, a group that seeks to establish no-cop zones in New York City, attempted to stage a rally and flag burning at a NYC park (their plan was to burn Confederate and American flags). A small number of people from the group did manage to set fire to an American flag:

The flag-burners were eventually run off by counter-protesters.

As one woman suspected of being with the anti-police group left the park, a crowd gathered around her.

“Shame, shame, shame!” some shouted toward the woman as officers provided her with protection.
