The debunked Jezebel hit piece on Scott Walker that the Daily Beast picked up on is indeed a good time to remember that examples of media malpractice when it comes to articles about the Wisconsin governor are not few and far between.
For proof we don’t even need to go outside of the latter half of February, as evidenced by this column written Gail Collins in the New York Times just a couple of weeks ago:
.@nytimescollins blames Walker for teacher layoffs that occurred in 2010. Walker didn't become governor until 2011. http://t.co/h1SGKnFjob

Not long after that, the Washington Post’s editorial board got in on the act. Rudy Giuliani’s comments about President Obama? Scott Walker might as well have voiced the same opinion:
'Full-on MSM madness’: Obama's media lapdogs twist Giuliani comments into Scott Walker's problem http://t.co/riCToi8ocZ
— Twitchy Team (@TwitchyTeam) February 21, 2015
Yahoo! News jumped on that bandwagon too, albeit temporarily:
Yahoo! News attributes Rudy's Obama-doesn't-love-America comment to Scott Walker; Deletes tweet http://t.co/ml1Ybdsw6l
— Twitchy Team (@TwitchyTeam) February 22, 2015
The tip of what’s sure to be a very big liberal media anti-Walker iceberg as 2016 rolls around.
