'Informed journalist’: Politico reporter plays 'unaware' card after tweet about Scott Walker

Scott Walker got a standing ovation following a speech at the Iowa Freedom Summit. Walker’s speech included references to death threats that were made against his family:

Politico reporter Glenn Thrush seemingly made light of that in a tweet he subsequently deleted:

Thrush claimed to be unaware that the tweet was in reference to death threats, though it’s common knowledge that Walker and his family have been frequent death threat targets.
