A doctor in New York City who had been in Guinea treating Ebola patients was diagnosed as having contracted the virus, but not before he’d reportedly ridden on the subway and gone to a bowling alley.
Fox News’ Martha MacCallum can’t understand the current protocol for returning doctors:
How easy it would have been to put in a quarantine on all returning doctors – 3 weeks ago. Why wouldn't we? Seriously.

Great question.
@marthamaccallum I agree, Martha. It's not Rocket Science. It's logic, something that seems to be eluding our leadership.

@marthamaccallum Correct. The problem is that many think 'quarantine' doesn't have to begin until they're back in the U.S. Wrong.

@marthamaccallum They should have had the 3 week quarantine in place a long long time ago!

@marthamaccallum 2 wks ago CDC said 2nd nurse shd NOT have taken public transport. But 6 DAYS ago, it didn't tell ebola doc the same thing.

@marthamaccallum You assume the govt would make logical decisions in their citizens best interest. Ultimately up to us to protect ourselves.
