Detroit declares bankruptcy: Iowahawk offers terrific idea on what to do next

We know what you’re probably thinking: “Detroit hadn’t declared bankruptcy already?” Apparently not.

Detroit, a testing ground for liberal ideas for decades that culminated in disastrous results, filed for Chapter 9 bankruptcy today.

What’s next for Motown? Iowahawk had the best idea:

Turn Detroit into a national park, to show our kids the wonders of "Government Help."
