President Biden’s approval rating keeps hitting new lows, but can you imagine what the number would be if this administration didn’t have much of the media still trying to and carry as much of their water as possible?
CNN’s John King did his part with a reminder that “governing is hard,” even when you have control of the White House, Senate and House of Representatives:
CNN's John King complains, "It is much easier to be the opposition party…give Democrats so some grace. Governing is hard, especially when you have tiny margins." pic.twitter.com/BzITh0HpAn

Biden’s barely been in office over a year and a half and we’ve already reached the “governing is hard” stage of media spin. King was painfully honest about Biden the other day so this follow-up might be more welcome by the White House.

But remember, reporters don’t take sides!
“I’ll take ‘What are things John King never said in 2017-18’ for $400, Alex.” https://t.co/iJeAa4ZWTV

Remember when @JohnKingCNN said that governing is hard, COVID-19 was a complex challenge and Donald Trump deserved some grace?
Me neither… https://t.co/Io9XzZOQR9

Right? We can’t remember that either. Heck, if Trump were still in office CNN would still have the death counter graphic posted.
Maybe they shouldn't have governed like they had an overwhelming mandate then… https://t.co/Yo7iEJIjaU

The media sure loves to make excuses for Democrats… https://t.co/LT0awa7PA2

He’s right. If Democrats can do this much damage with tiny margins, imagine what they could do with more power! https://t.co/BIAoIcACPG

That’s a frightening thought.
