NPR media correspondent David Folkenflik is saying the story has been “challenged by the right”:

“Challenged by the right”? Interesting take:
It wasn't "challenged" on the right — it was disputed by all 3 SCOTUS justices involved. Being told something untrue that is refuted by each involved party happens — but it's why you should be extremely leery of reports from people unwilling to put their name behind claims.
