Some Trump administration officials have reportedly called on Joe Scarborough to apologize for how he’s framed what’s happening at the border:
Trump administration officials held a conference call to defend family separation at border & demand apology for @JoeNBC calling practice Nazi-like. None was willing to be quoted by name. https://t.co/ClnuCRUqga

Instead of an apology for his “Nazi-like” comment, Scarborough doubled down this way:
I feel pity for Trump stooges who lack the character to oppose his heartless policy that rips babies from their mothers’ arms and sends children to showers and then disappear. https://t.co/tkRygCMRMK

Wow, that’s some kind of statement. Suffice to say, many Resistance warriors agreed with Scarborough, while others thought his double-down tweet was way over the top:
I feel pity for media stooges who lack the character to refrain from trivializing the Holocaust. Or fail to tell the truth and instead push lies based on the word of a known criminal. Including lies like kids in #ConcentrationCamps https://t.co/mHxAJrrYPZ https://t.co/IDEeFxmlnj

Obama separated thousands of children from their migrant parents. Then he deported more migrants than all other past presidents combined.
You and the rest of the media lacked character to oppose his heartless policies. https://t.co/pzTQxcfgwe

Scarborough’s often criticized for sounding a loud alarm about Trump after he was sworn in but not so much during the campaign.
every Scarborough tweet reminds me of his post NH interview with Trump, which was quite possibly the most softbally interview in the entire 2016 cycle https://t.co/XzNDUn0XXz https://t.co/BIIHD19R6g
